425 Manufacturing was started in June 2015 by Michael Thomason. Our primary focus is to support general manufacturing in Northern Illinois including Rockford and the surrounding Chicago suburbs.

In our first 5 years in business we have grown to employ 20 people and offer our employees complete benefits including health, dental, retirement and many more benefits. 425 Manufacturing has quickly become a leader in supplying and stocking aftermarket parts for the mining and blast hole drill industry. In 2018, 2019 and 2020 our parts have shipped to 6 of the 7 continents around the world. In 2019 we received our ISO9001:2015 certification.

Involvement with our community and helping to inform and teach the next generation of manufacturing students is one of our most important goals currently and in the future. We are highly involved in the local schools and work with their shop and welding classes on a monthly basis. We also send our office staff twice a year since 2015 to give mock interviews to the freshman and junior classes.

We have had a blood drive every year since we opened our doors and have also hosted manufacturing day tours every year and are part of the manufacturing day advisory team to streamline the activities and engage the youth on their level.
